Masterful lyrics with the voice of an angel
Chris De Burgh is one of my all-time favorite artists not widely known in the United States sadly. He writes passionately and humanely and is very popular in Germany and South American countries. I have most of his music which I happened on by accident after wondering what other music besides "Lady in Red" had he done. We all love the words to that one and it doesn't stop there. I describe his music as feel good music and it will brighten your day. Though some of his song titles seem Christian it is not, he is more of a humanist. Sailing away, I'm not scared anymore and The last time I cried, which is powerful, are my favorites on this cd. The words of his music don't lack for anything like today's music, no hate messages here. Did I mention that he has a voice like an angel, and every person in my home from 20 to 76 enjoy his diverse music.
