The rubber seal on my 986 petrol cap had...
The rubber seal on my 986 petrol cap had perished, and this was a good quality, identical replacement. I haven't bothered fitting the tether, although there is that capability, as it requires a small grommet to be removed. I may sort this in time, but to be honest, I prefer to rest the cap by the windscreen during refuelling, rather than have it dangling against the paintwork, at the risk of knocks or scratches.
