The less action packed back story
1 of 1 found this helpful I love this movie, for the record. I rarely buy myself movies, but I have bought this one twice (once, my fiance left it at work, where it lives now. I needed it back). Volume one was more of a fast paced, violent, exciting ride, about which one wasn't fully sure what was going on, but it looked cool. Volume two on the other hand has some great sequences, but takes more time to explain the back story. There is a lot of story telling, but if you liked Volume one, you should see what happened to get the Bride where she is...and where she will end up.

Too funny, but not for the politically correct
The Chappelle Show pokes fun of society and its flaws, turing racism on its, and can even make fun of the show itself. It is not at all for those who are overly concerned with offending others, who are too proud to laugh at themselves, or people with no realistic view of their own stereotypes about race.
For the rest of us, it is full of quotable lines, funny sketches, and "no they just didn't!" moments. I love it.

A little over my head.
The description of this book lead me to believe that it would be relatively easy for my to understand, and be able to share the information with my young (11-13 year old) students. However, for someone who knows little about rocks, this book is not as helpful as it claims to be. I had been hoping for a bit more ease of use as a layman.
