A nice piece of kit !
A good quality, well designed product ideal for gatherings of about 6 - 8 hungry people....Fairly simple in assembly, just make sure the end plates are in the correct orientation...I failed first try ! Totally delighted...There are several pieces of kit out there that barely do the job. This is not one of them ! I modified it slightly by bolting bathroom/shower grab rails on the sides to aid transportation/movement. (See pic.) I can highly recommended this product...

Rolleiflex 2.8 FX Film Camera
Pros. A simply stunning lens Off film flash exposure superbly accurate with Metz module. Accurate "TTL" though through the viewing lens The quality feel of yore..... Cons. Shutter(Seiko)release not as smooth (or tactile)as original German shutters,although improved by a mushroom button attachment. Also... not as silent. The finish longevity has been a question but the FX "seems" to be superior to the GX. Minimum focal distance not optimum for portraiture work. Conclusion. Like their predecessors, superb photographic tools for those not in a hurry. The addition of TTL & off film flash exposure enhancing the original concept.One of the finest lenses fitted to any camera, if not THE finest !
