Easy to carry guide to the main families of butterfly in Costa Rica
It's a really good starter guide that I hope will help identify what i'm looking at on holiday. It doesn't cover all the butterflies in the country but gives an idea of the major species.

Simple design, and it works.
Simple design so it fits with any decor. And it works, keeps the air from getting too dry in any room when the central heating is on.

Great book for finding the best birding locations in this area.
Bought this book to help plan birding holiday to the area - a great help with practical advice about the roads and access etc. as well as the birding. Detailed map drawings look very useful as do bird lists by season and info about where to go in what wind conditions for migration watch. Still going to need a bird identification book when we get out there but that's to be expected. Great that it covers some of the inland areas as well as just the coast.
