Upon fitting this starter motor, I was disappointing when I noticed that the M8 terminal pole appeared loose at the solenoid, but I went ahead and fitted it regardless. when I fitted the starter it turned over clicking initially as if a flat battery or connections poor, It did this several times . I re checked all connections which were ok apart from the initial M8 pole issue which cannot be tightened by the 13mm nut alone! . I have started the vehicle about 100 times since that and I am able to say that this clicking became less and now then not every ignition operation and now starts with out issue! but it was very un nerving why it should have a problem initially that has now resolved its self.
