The title doesn't refer to the story, but to the title song. It's a delicious red herring. It adds to the fil's mystery.
I liked the film when I first saw it. It's populated by odd characters and is quite disturbing in places. As I'm older and wiser now, seeing the film again, I might understand it better and new things about it may come to light. Also, I've always wanted it.

Does what it says.
The film is a farcial comedy of the old school, but with French flair. The premise isn't promising, a girl who reads books, but she engages and identifies with one of the characters in the book she is reading. This leads to all sorts of situations, this is what makes the film. The script is sharp and well written, something to get your teeth into. Oh, and it has easy to follow English subtitles. A fine fim, just as I remember it.

A little confusing, but nice, pithy and to the point.
The film was just as I remembered it. Kelly McGillis, although she hates the film (it's not hard to work out why), shines the most out of the cast. Peter Weller was a bit wooden, which was surprising. Charles Durning was suitably oily and very sinister. On the whole, a good yarn of the sort I like.
