Bird Trap Green 20 cm Steel vidaXL

A qualified sucess.
The trap did what was required in our case after just a couple of days. I had to watch U-Tube video to set it up as instructions less than ideal. The bird had been able to walk in the sprung trap a distance of 8m when on paving, before we realised we had caught it in the preceding couple of hours. The other thing to note is it is unpainted mild steel so rusts very quickly and left a mark (That came out) on our paving within 2 or 3 days. Seems fairly expensive for what it was but in our case worth every penny as we were being intimidated by one bird.

Does what it says on the box
There is a little fabrication involved. Very simple but one of the wheels has to be fitted in a particular way and not noted in the instructions. If not done correctly then the wheel does not rotate the dispenser bar correctly.

Moulding tolerances too tight
Arrived quickly but the holder is far too tight on existing battery (I have 2 batteries) and couldn't get them in far enough to allow charging. However it is an identical design in all respects to original case and my problem was a dead transformer so all I had to do was a quick change over of all the electrics in one piece onto the old holder and all good. No screws or anything required as back plate is clipped on. Job took 2 mins and up and running and working well.
