Disappointing
I carefully chose an illustrated boxed product. When it arrived it was not boxed and no instructions. After a week or so it's stopped working. Poor choice.

Easily fixed, reasonable light
The unit is of fair quality in metal and plastic. It appears weather-protected but as we have put it in our porch I cannot confirm this. The light given out is ok for our purpose but is quite limited. I only had one issue when fixing and that was the bolts which come through the main section to attach fixing nuts at the front kept kept slipping back and hence I couldn't attach to them. Some bulking at the back solved this.
The motion detecter has three controls hidden behind a plastic section on the front. This is a little flimsy but is fine at the time of writing.

Good purchase.
The short cable is ideal on a desk situation. Sockets and main plug appear to work well. The electronic switching works when it should, with the manual over-ride convenient on the top of the unit. I am delighted with the purchase.
