Compact, functional within technological limits, very good value.

A surprisingly good product in view of the price and the technology used. It will not give you a hi-def picture such as can be achieved with direct screened cabling, but you do not have to take up carpets, floors, drill through walls or put in ducting. You can just plug the sender and receiver in, connect the infra-red remote control lead to beam into your source (HD and DVD recorder in my case) position the sender and receiver so they can pair (happened with no noticeable delay) and you're set up. All these systems are analogue, whatever the selling blurb says, and are open to interference. This I was well used to from my old broken system, and able to manage (or in the case of someone walking through the 'beam') accept. My only occasional persistent offender was my WiFi router, far away on a different floor. Once in a while I have to just turn it off. The range is not challenging in my case, 10 m and one solid wall on the same floor, and it would appear that some of the claims for transmission distance are optimistic. Also I think it may not work so well with old plasma TVs. So it's a compromise solution, but works well enough in my place.
