Good imager but software is aweful!
In order to use this product for anything useful like reporting, you need software which will allow identifying temperatures in the image. The software provided by Milwaukee is absolutely awful. It is buggy and crashes often, but, more important, it incorrectly identifies temperatures in the image. It flips the data when measuring temperatures so that, if the hot spot is on the right half of the image, it shows it as being on the left half. Notice, in the image I provided, where the software is indicating the maximum heat in the image (small white triangle pointing up). Clearly, the hottest part is the dark red to the left of this indicator. Also, notice that the coldest spot is indicated on the upper left of the area meter (small white triangle pointing down), however, clearly, the colder area is on the right in the blue, not the orange/yellow on the left. I have reported this to Milwaukee but never even received a response from them. The price of this imager is great but there are some serious issues.
Also, the unit I received does not keep the time/date information. Every time I turn it on, the date and time are reset to factory defaults.
