It's certainly worth a watch if you like fantasy and Sci-Fi
We purchased this because of Matthew McConaughey and Christian Bale, both actors are an A on my list and I like fantasy films with dragons. This was an interesting twist on the genre.

Well worth the viewing. If you haven't seen it, you should.
We love this film! It's full of great characters, and mystical beasts. The steelbook came at a great price, and we will watch it many times over.

Brutal but beautiful movie, definitely worth having
I've been considering buying this movie to add to my collection of classic anime films for a long time, and only recently finally bought it. I wasn't disappointed. A tragic study of a super soldier's role in a convoluted civil war between the government and a group of revolutionaries, the story of his relationship with the young girl from the rebels' side woven with metaphors relating to the original Little Red Riding Hood fable. It's beautifully animated, with an intense, interesting story that pulls no emotional punches. Definitely an awesome addition to my collection.
