1 of 1 found this helpful So far my experience with this amplifier has exceeded my expectations.
It flat out cranks "loud" very efficient and sounds super clean..
The specs are definitely accurate to the description , 500.1 bridged @4ohms is amazingly clean with a THD level of 0.01% - 125X2RMS @ 4ohms stereo - 225X2 RMS @ 2 ohms stereo.
This thing is slim and low profile and can be mounted just about anywhere. Additionally it's a very sexy attractive amplifier for those that like visual appeal...I'll be buying another to daisy chain with it-
Overall I recommend anyone questioning if they should buy it, don't think about it much. It's worth every penny and how can you go wrong with a 3 year warranty for $54.00 dollars? This just tells me cadence is confident enough in their product to offer 3 years on an amp your paying vertically nothing for.
Let me mention this amp will run lower then 4 ohms bridged, but it will get way hot without a fan and you can absolutely expect cadence 3 year warranty doesn't cover stupid.

Runs very hot all the time regardless of the load. It gets hot at idle
The amp sounds really good, but it gets hot for absolutely nothing. It’ll be sitting at idle and it still gets hot , really hot!! On the bottom is a fan but when it’s mounted flat on a carpeted board won’t let it pull any air from the bottom making the fan useless. They need to rework their mini series amps
