HP Genuine Inkjet cartridges
Genuine HP ink cartridges are so much better than re-manufactured/refilled. They are dependable, always give the amount of pages they advertise and the colors are more vivid. The prices on eBay are the very best around. NOTE: there is more than one capacity of cartridge, although they look the same from the outside. The discount stores sell an 11 ml, while HP makes 15-21 ml. When the box states, "large" on the front, it is a 21 ml. The smaller capacities are not a good buy at $25+ (typical Walmart price).
I have had excellent luck in buying HP cartridges through eBay and I highly recommend the genuine, HP-manufactured cartridges.

Children's storybook, "Tom's Rabbit" by Meredith Hooper
I accidentally stumbled on this book while searching for something else. I have a grand daughter who is crazy about animals and I was looking for Christmas presents for grandchildren. The price was very reasonable and I liked the fact that it was based on a true story taken from the diaries of men on an expedition to the Antarctica. It's also a National Geographic Society book, and everything they do is good.
I was not dissappointed! The book is a wonderful story of caring and nurturing and it is beautifully illustrated. Good, solid integrity springs from the pages. It doubles for a nice Christmas Eve story for grandchildren, too, as the time of the event is at Christmas. It also teaches a lesson in tolerance (many animals co-habitat peacefully, crew hangs flags from many different countries) and it gives a short history lesson in the back of the book of the actual event which took place in 1910.
I loved everything about the book and highly recommend it - probably for first to third graders.

Book, The Elements of Style by White & Strunk
1 of 1 found this helpful This book is one of the best ever written about how to use the English language. If you have ever read Charlotte's Web, you know that E.B. White knows what he is talking about (he is the author of the children's book). The book (which arrived in absolutely perfect condition)was first authored by White's college professor, William Strunk, sometime before 1919. On Cornell's campus, the book was affectionately dubbed "the little book" because it was very small (43 pages) but contained almost everything students needed to know to write an effective essay, article, paper, etc. When White re-examined the original book for revision, he said it contained "rich deposits of gold." I couldn't agree more. This book is a must for anyone who writes for pleasure or out of necessity. It's primary lesson is how to use English accurately, effectively and with brevity. The 85 pages of instruction give information in a charming and interesting manner. If you have not already guessed, I highly recommend the book, and I'm thrilled that I was able to find it on eBay, in perfect condition, and at a wonderful price.
