A good read. It's on the shelf and I will read it again in a few years
I only discovered David Baldacci just ove a year ago but have already read 19 of his books and have bought the other 10 ready to read over the winter. The majority of his books are grouped into mini-series of 3 or 4 but True Blue is a stand-alone.
From the outset, his writing style is relaxed and infinitely readable. He does not get lost in endless waffling like some writers do just to pad out the story so, at 640 pages, there's a lot to go at.
The story revolves around a DC police woman, just released from 2 years in prison for something she didn't do, trying to prove herself and get back into uniform. Things are complicated by the fact that her sister is Deputy Chief of Police.
The story is fast moving with some very unexpected twists. I read it in a week, which is good for me.
I would rate it as 8.5 out of 10 (I never score 10) and would recommend it to anyone who likes a good thriller. (You should also read ALL of his other books, particularly the Camel Club series)

It Really Works
There are all sorts of guitar humidification systems but most of them only increase humidity. This one works both ways to maintain your (CASED!) guitar at a steady 50% humidity. Iv've been using them for 5 years and can say, with confidence, that they actually work. Most folk don't appreciate how hich the humidity can get in the UK. Frequently 70% and occasionally pushing 90% (next 10 days rage is 68-90%) so you want to reduce humidity, not increase it!. You MUST keep your guitar in its hard case and you MUST keep the case closed AT ALL TIMES as it is "conditioned" to 50% humidity. As soon as you have finished playing, put the guitar back in its case and close it up. Et voila a stable 50% humidity environment for your treasured instrument to live in. I am averaging around 3-4 sets a year but, with my Taylor 916ce tipping the scales at over £4,000, I recon it's worth it!

Exactly what I wanted. I tried to make one with PAracord but it looked a mess. To be honest, at this price, there's no point in making one. Just buy it!
