Original quality, great price!
Original HP spacers. We had managed to lose a few and needed to use them on quick mount stands. 7mm is quite a thickness and these worked a treat.

Intel i7/X58 chipset DDR3 memory
If you are building an Intel based PC using the high end i7 socket 1366 processor, then you will need memory that will take advantage of the triple channel DDR3 memory management. This set of memory does this at medium clock speeds for a reasonable price. It will date quickly! However, for early adopters of the i7 processor, it is cheaper than most and works.
For a 64 bit OS such as Win 7 which the i7 will run quite happily, you will need a bit more memory than the old 32 bit OS, double since you are using the 64 bit memory addressing. So a set of 6GB is just right. I had a few warnings with just 3GB of memory being pushed, I haven't had these since I installed this set.
Incidentally, the clock speed is 1600MHz not 600 which can be determined from the type number of the pack - see OCZ website http://www.ocztechnology.com/products/ddr3/. You will see the Gold series is just part of the range and is a compromise between performance and price. It can be overclocked but I have not explored the upper limit. Do not exceed the specified DRAM voltage of 1.65V unless you know exactly what you are doing and accept the possible consequences since this can damage the (expensive) CPU.
6GB is enough, but I added it on top of 3GB of existing OCZ memory for which it is important to use memory with similar (or preferably exactly) the same timing characteristics. Hence the purchase and review.
So far I have had no problems with this memory type or manufacturer. Therefore I do recommend it without reservation.
