Easy to apply
This is very easy to apply using a soapy water spray, squeegee of some sort(I used a John Lewis store card but other brands are available!) and a cloth. I was applying it to a multi paned door so I cut the film beforehand leaving a 5mm gap around the edge. As long as the glass is moist(not too wet) the film can be repositioned until the final placement when the air bubbles can be removed and finally removing any excess water-brilliant!

Nice big screen but still needs a steady hand when using the stylus.
7 of 7 found this helpful Bought this primarily for casual walking when away with our caravan. It gives me all the maps for the uk in 1:50,000 which gives enough information for me.
Inputting can be a bit fiddly with the attached stylus so you'll need a steady hand.
As another reviewer commented, I too had a problem with it freezing on me which needed a 'hot' power down by removing the battery. I don't what the reason was but it only happened once.
The cd rom supplied didn't have the correct extended manual but those nice people at memory map sent me a link to the correct version. I think the info I was after would have been the same in the 2800 version that was supplied anyway but when you're trying to find your way round a new device, you need to be confident in what you are reading especially if it's your first gps unit, as this is for me.
To that end, I would recommend reading the extended manual(it's not as big as it sounds!)in order to upload and download overlays etc as this for me is the crux of the whole thing.
One niggle I do have is the lack of a screen lock to prevent accidental inputs but I guess this defeats the object of a device that is constantly updating your current position!
Overall I love this device as map reading has never been my strong point.

They love it
We have 5 Chihuahua’s who enjoy this stuff when it’s squirted into a Kong chew. Some of them finish in a couple of minutes whilst the others are still licking them a couple of hours later.
