A very good traditional western
This is James Coiburn at his best. And Kristofferson is surprisingly good as Billy. Bob Dylan, while not giving an award-worthy performance was a nice touch. This movie flows well and is sprinkled here and there with subtle humor. At least, I thought so. I did not become enamored with any of the characters. They all had their dark sides. I respected that because I'm thinking the real people potrayed in this film were similarly not likeable.
