Good VFM projector screen
1 of 1 found this helpful Ideal for a home theatre on a budget, this screen is ideal for medium size to large rooms. I have a Sony projector which is sited in my living room approx. 3.25 metres from the screen which gives a 100" picture. Superb for watching movies, the screen is bright with sharp images and good colours. As with any cheaper items, there are some niggly bits, i.e. the screen tends to curl a little on the edges and at the bottom but this doesn`t affect viewing. The main issue is the length of the cables and the control box - the screen is designed to hang from the ceiling but the cable overall length is far too short for a neat installation, and both in and out cables go through the top of the control box.
A word of warning - unless you know the position of your ceiling joists and are a confident DiY`er get an expert to hang this as it is quite heavy and plasterboard will struggle to support the weight !!
All in all, if you don`t want to spend a fortune on home cinema equipment, this is a perfect solution, In total I only have spent 250 pounds on my setup using this screen and a second-hand projector and surround amp and speakers, plus some trunking to hide the cables.
Comparable screens cost far more than this one which will satisfy most people. Highly recommended !!
