Thought they would connect to o-scope probes but not
So I have to remove caps, insert wire of some sort through the hole in the cap, and solder that wire onto the lead inside. Waste of time as I can get hook probes for not much more.

Stay away! Total garbage!
The vaquum pump does not perform its stated purpose. It creates some vacuum, but nowhere near PSI required to properly evacuate an AC system, and once the maximum vacuum is reached, it does not hold it as it is missing a one-way valve. As soon as the compressor is turned off, the AC system fills with air.
On top of this the unit is not airtight and it leaks vacuum even during the evacuation.
The compressor connection is not a standard thread and the standard quick detach nipples only go in by 1-2 turns.
This was a total waste of time and money.

Good cable
Almost every point is true: this is a heavy-duty cable and it is a good quality. But I get 800 Mbit, not just 400. 85 MB/s transfer is a norm with it. Keeps my old laptop going w/o having to buy an expensive PCCard gigabit NIC.
