Useful background advice on b&w photography
Very good price and easy reading, almost chatty style. Slightly dated, even for a film photographer. A little more quantitative and graphical information would have enhanced some of the points made. It was good to read about the opinions and experiences of a well respected and accomplished photographer, although I felt that some of the images of b&w photographs selected for reproduction in the book could have had more "punch" to exemplify the power of b&w techniques.
