High quality but not genuine

A great step up from cheap no name calipers
1 of 1 found this helpful These are great calipers. No, they don't compare to Mitutoyos, but they are a big step up from the noname digital calipers that sell for $10-20. The grinds are good, there are no gaps in the jaws, the slide is smooth, and I like that they use a longer lasting CR2032 battery although I do recommend removing it if you won't be using them for a while. They still suffer from the power draw problem that all cheaper calipers do but the battery should still last a few years.
My only real complaint with them is the thumb wheel is loose which I've never seen on calipers that cost more or less than these. If they could fix that I would have zero complaints.

Tough bumper and skidplates combo
DE makes great bumpers and skidplates. They don't break and they last a long time.
