Brilliant hooks
1 of 1 found this helpful These hooks are absolutely brilliant. We use them on the side of our caravan to hang coats on when using the porch awning. They stay put and take the weight of adult as well as children's coats no problem. Being white they also look like a permanent fixture.

Good for dogs, good for one child but no good for a child and baby.
This works fine for us as we use it as a dog barrier, hence 3 *.
However, I wouldn't buy it for a gate to stop toddlers/ children. The reason being you HAVE to use 2 hands to open and close it.
ie - if you want to go through whilst holding a baby yet retaining another child you'd have to put baby down, open the gate, pick baby up and go through, put baby down again to close the gate (this keeping a toddler safe), then pick baby up again to go on your way.
The one GREAT thing is that an older child wouldn't be able to work the mechanism at the same time as opening the gate!!!

Worst pegs we've ever had
I tried using 4 of these pegs on fairly soft ground and all 4 snapped off at the top.
Its a shame, but they're the Worst pegs we've ever had.
Thought they'd be good for across front of awning as flat for when front is rolled up and less likely to catch your foot on them.
