I've had two of these so far, and I love how the legs are longer than most monopods. I hardly ever use a tripod for my hundreds of wedding videos I do. But, ... one thing to be aware of with this monopod is that after some use, the screws fall out of the legs. So, best thing to do is replace them with something like lock nuts so that it doesn't happen. I'll attach a pic of what I used from Ace hardware, and it stays put. If you replace them at the beginning, then you won't be caught with it falling apart while filming. Other than that, it's a real workhorse. After hundreds of weddings, I'm about to purchase another one, because the legs are flattening out, thus becoming a little more unstable. (when new, the legs stand at a little bit of an angle)

This one is the best mini camera out of the four I purchased.
2 of 2 found this helpful I purchased 4 mini cameras from ebay at the same time so that I could compare them, and this one was the very BEST! It's solid metal construction, so a little heavier than the others. The mode button is easy to use and the picture quality is better then the rest, color and sound is more accurate. The infrared works too. I purchased the small rectangle one also but it wasn't quite as good as this one, but close.
I recommend this mini camera for sure! Here's a simplified operating instructions for this camera:
On: Click on.
Press mode button to toggle through modes, like red/blue is 1080p, blue is 720 and red is picture mode.
Infrared mode: While in a stand by mode, like solid red/blue, then press on button for two seconds to turn on infrared lights.
To record, just click on (after the camera is on), and to stop it press it again.

Very good camera!
1 of 1 found this helpful I spent a few hours with this camera and it's all that we've been waiting for. You can read all the specs on the internet, so I'll just point out a few things I noticed.
The grip and overall size is very similar to the D750, maybe a little lighter and thinner. Grip is almost the same.
The back LCD screen is about the same as the D850, only difference is that the hinges are a new mechanism, it doesn’t tilt down all the way like the D850 does. Maybe about a 40 degree angle, not bad, but I would have liked it to go completely horizontal.
The adapter is very light, and you hardly notice it when using it.
I tried out my 24-120mm with the adapter and the autofocus is very fast, I can’t remember if it’s as fast as the new Z lenses, but I was impressed.
The continuous autofocus for video was great, even with the adapter. After adjusting the focus speed (tracking speed) in the menu, it worked perfect.
The EVF looked almost the same as the back LCD, and it showed all the menu stuff on it also.
My old AF D 20mm lens would not work on the adapter (the AF wouldn’t work I mean)
When using the 120fps, it does switch to DX mode. But at least it records the audio (unlike the D850)
Not worried about it only having 1 card slot, the new XQD cards are very well built. …. But also I use the cameras more for video than photography.
No flash, just like the D850. The top LCD screen is perfect.
Overall I was very pleased with this camera. Quite a bit lighter than my D850 and has more.
