Excellent product to keep the radio usable!
1 of 1 found this helpful There are known issues with display failures in the Evoke 1s and probably other similar models, but this is a cheap way to give the radio many more years of use.
The product was well-packaged, but be aware it will take some time to install. As other reviewers have mentioned, there are a lot of screws to remove - luckily most are the same type but it is still straightforward to do. The fiddly bit is actually inserting the cable of the display unit into the connector - a small black clamp needs to be pulled out first. The cable does have 2 small holes, so I used some small pins to help guide the cable properly into the slot, then reset the clamp - then all was well!
The radio is now working well again, so my father-in-law will be pleased!!
