Good family game- once you have mastered the rules.
1 of 1 found this helpful This is not a simple game but the rules are not too arduous. When you have played once, the basic strategies and objectives are easily comprehensible. The rule book is quite large, containing an almanac, and can be confusing. It would definitely help to have an experienced player present when you first try and play.
The fact that the game revolves around human interactions- predominantly trading cards to collect the best resources- makes strategy dependent on the opponent and not the board set up. It's a game that is enjoyed across generation gaps in our family so that makes it quite special.
