Very disappointed
After reading the reviews I went ahead and bought this product although it is quite expensive. I need to get through 2-3 layers of paint. I applied a coat and left it for an hour as per instructions. It has a consistency like thick wallpaper paste so it was hard to get an even coating. I had to scrub quite hard with a pan scourer, as advised on the container, but it did not completely remove even the top layer. I then applied it thicker and wrapped cling film around it to keep it moist. It dried out in places despite the cling film and although it bubbled quite a lot it only took off the top layer and softened the one underneath. It looks a right mess so I have now abandoned it and have ordered a heat gun. It seems a very expensive way to remove paint as to get a good result you have to paint it on so thickly. I was using it around a door frame, it might be easier to use on a large flat surface.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH - NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE
Absolutely USELESS - the picture is NOT of this product. They look like the kind of slippers you get in hotels, they are NOT. They are so thin, not even as thick as a baby wipe, you can see through them. I opened them when I went on holiday over a month after purchase or I would have sent them back. My toe went through them in minutes (had just had a pedicure so nails were not long). They are just compete rubbish and the picture is false, See ACTUAL pics I have posted. DO NOT BUY.
Brilliant stuff and easy to use. I was a bit nervous but once I started I found it easy. I used a plastic wallpaper smoother and just did a bit at a time. I never had one air bubble and I covered the tops of three bedroom units. I used Harris Taskmaster snap off blades to trim, £2.49 in BM Stores. Would definitely recommend. Am thinking of covering my kitchen cupboard doors with it.
