Not recommended for HP 2740p
This drive works well and and it is a good product but I think it is not a good fit for this computer. It seems to be a little large so it fits very tightly and does not allow for the installation of the black rubber mount I purchased separately. A metal clamp that goes over the plug does not seem to fit eiither. I had to improvise with a piece of foam, normally used under floors, glued to the back cover to hold the drive in place. It also requires the purchase of an adapter for the plug in the computer.

2740p Docking Station
Excellent product, it adds a DVD player and an ethernet connection to the computer. Makes it easy to load a new operating system Item was new in the original package and half the price of some other sellers. Very happy with this purchase.

Good buy
Difficult to tell but a full charge seems to last longer than the original battery. Fits well in the phone and does not require a different cover.
