Barely adequate
While this may appear to be a well-designed and made product, the light produced is circular, rather than oval as expected. The result is that only approximately 1/3 of the keyboard is barely adequately lit, and the remaining 2/3 is very poorly lit. I wanted a very low consumption keyboard light, and I think I got that, but the LEDs will deteriorate and I wonder just how long it will be useful.
If you are in an environment where the light may disturb others or attract attention, then this is probably a very good product for that. My purpose is in case of power cuts at night, where conservation of battery power is crucial.
If I were to use a keyboard light powered from the mains, I would choose another, and make sure that the pool of light illuminates the keyboard and beyond, very well.

Impressive & Inexpensive
Perfectly adequate for occasional use with the average car in ideal conditions.
Incredible value for money.
The croc clips may not open wide enough for some battery terminals.
The cable is approximately 5 sq. mm copper plated aluminium, so try to charge the dead battery a little, before cranking.
