Difficult fit for my Whirlpool Refrigerator

I bought a 3-pack. The price was attractive. They do the job of filtering the water. However, on my particular refrigerator they are only and "almost-fit". The door for the water filter will not close correctly and pop open from time to time. I am using the second filter of the 3-pack now. I was hoping I had just one pooly fitting filter, but the second one fits equally poor. They may fit better on other refrigerators, but I will not buy this brand again, due to the incompatibility with my particular refrigerator. I recommend buying a single unit first and checking how it fits and works.
