A bit too starry
I was fearing that these would be poor mouldings. There were a few bits of flash and one or two sprue stumps sticking out. I repainted them all anyway, not least because a number of them had markings in a star shape. I wanted to use them for an OO layout so coloured them as Dexters which are a smaller breed.

Good and strong
I bought these as a substitute for wooden pegs with somewhat variable and often rather weak springs.
They have proved to be very able, with springs that are strong enough to hold a heavy towel.
I anticipate good durability with the main construction bring stainless steel, but only time will tell.

Wasted space
I'm a bit disappointed. The use of the page is spoilt by whole year calendars across every page, which together with wide line spacing means that I only get 29 lines compared with 48 in my previous diary.
