Lynn Barber shares her life with the reader brilliantly in this book. Immediatly you get a feel for the author's sense of humour, and that's one that personally I can connect with, making this a page turner for me and I finished it very quickly.
As Bernard L. Black once said;
"You'll laugh, you'll cry, it'll change your life."
Spot on. I really felt for Lynn during the last few chapters and I love how she paints the picture of her youth so well.
I wouldn't recommend buying a book if you want a book of the film, as the story in the film is one chapter in the book, but if you want the film written down word for word into a novel for you then you probably shouldn't be buying a book in the first place, you should buy the film.
If you want a nourishing autobiographal read that you can't put down then do buy this book. Buy it now.
