Getting started with Surface Mount components

After a lot of frustration trying to use fine conventional cored solder to replace SMDs, I had a good look round on Ebay at the alternative products available. I concluded that Techzones small solder paste dispenser was the ideal starter size for me. It meant that I did not have to lay out a lot of money in the first instance. If the new technique ( to me ) proves successful then I would not hesitate in re-ordering from Techzone.

Getting started with Surface Mount Components

After struggling for some time with a conventional digital multimeter probe set, when trying to take measurements on SMDs ; I spotted this needle probe set with Techzone. They fitted my existing meter and come with protective shrouds on the needle points. They do the job and represent good value for the price charged.

Because my Beats are 1st generation Studio headphones they sent me a cable specifically for a Studio 1 headphone. The assembly works just as well as the original Dr Dre assembly.
