Apple iPhone 5c fail

Every mobile phone I have owned has worked by inserting the sim, switching on and setting up. Sorted! Not the 5c. Won't set up( despite 50+ attempts) via my data allowance. I don't have home internet to set with iTunes. Therefore, it's useless. It currently sits on my desk to be repackaged and returned. My MacBook hasn't missed a beat in four years. But this phone is a bust. Plug and play Apple. Plug and play!!! Only gets one star because zero isn't available.👎
