Easy to use just put in an AA battery work out how to open the cassette, press the switch to one side and the cassette slot opens.Put the VHS_C tape in and pop in to your VHS player.The motor in the adapter tightens up the tape before slotting in to your VHS player. Dont forget though, if sending the signal to a digital or an HDMI smart TV, you will need an digital converter attachment with a scart connector to see the pictures on your TV.
