Keep it with you all the time
This product is amazing value for money. One could say that Humzor is playing catch up with the software. However, the latest versions are a major improvement over previous versions, and with the free updates, buying this tool is a fantastic investment.
Most of the cheaper tools will not activate anything on the car, but this does.
Many tools do not cover all the modules on a car, this does.
I have been able to use this tool on post-2000 BMWs, Porsche, and Hyundai, and it can do everything that the more expensive tools can do.
Cannot comment on the immobilizer functions
Downloading the updates is very slow.
Poor coverage on 90s cars, true for most of the modern scan tools.

Same as what was on the car to start with.
Works as it should.

This product does not work
2 of 2 found this helpful My original BMW sensor failed because the the internal insulation on the wires disintegrated.
This meant I could verify proper operation of the wiring and ECU by separating the shorted wires and checking for codes with a scan tool.
However with this sensor the ECU throws a CAM sensor fault as soon as the engine is started.
The Meyle sensor visually looks good and checking it with an OHM meter yields exactly the same results.
I ended up purchasing a Siemens sensor (all cars with the 12141703221 sensor use a Siemens ECU) and there have been no fault codes since.
Looking at the output on a sensor on a scope the Meyle sensor returns a weaker signal than the OE Siemens sensor.
Searching the internet there are posts full of problems with Meyle sensors on BMW M52s. In fact it looks like the only CAM sensors that work on a m52 are either the BMW genuine one or the Siemens one. The other cheap ebay sensors do not work either.
