great little addition for parties...
Depending on your requirements this (larger) 2.5 ltr comes in at just a couple of quid more than the similar 1.5ltr. But there is a lot of difference, this one is great for larger gatherings, I would say an easy 5 people plus. They are very easy to operate easy to clean and I have kept the box for packing away when not in use. I use ours ours for bbq's and parties so that I can get in front with the food. Cook it before and these keep it lovely and warm.

Cheap and cheerful
1 of 1 found this helpful I bought this device to put into my shed. The fixings are very easy and I was worried that a windy day might cause it to trigger falsely, but it has been working very well. I had a spare 6v transformer knocking about so mine is wired to the mains so I don't have to worry about batteries. The siren isn't deafening it's about as loud as you would expect of something of this price, but it can be heard which is the most important thing. I don't think I would trust it to deter someone from breaking into my home, but for shed and garage it's much better than nothing at all.
Down sides... it is infrared so it is line of sight to arm and disarm, that is to say that you cannot be a distance away from your shed to arm it or disarm it should it go off in the night. The other little niggle is when you switch on a light near to the alarm it seems to arm the alarm so you have to disarm it again.
My advice is if you want a little something to put your mind at rest, go for it. If you have a little more money or your shed contains valueable items, the look for a wireless system or better still a bluetooth system which are a lot more precise and effective.

Good food costs less
