Feels like a fan heater when running.
What an amazing device. Every wood burner owner should have one. All you have to do is light your fire, take this fan out of its box and put on top of the stove. Once the heat starts to convect the fan will start. I like the way the fan speed varies according on how much heat the stove produces.
Had a coal laden fire one evening, fan going full on and 3ft away it felt like a fan heater blowing warm air. Seriously, this is a brilliant device, wish we'd bought one or two years ago as makes a real difference in heating. No more heat going up to ceiling first before getting to sofa level.
