JAWBONE UP3 Wristband Activity Tracker Black with LED indicator and Bluetooth

Significant Issues
I bought one of these activity bands as the professional reviews seemed to think they were good ... but there is a significant problem. The devices seem to have a battery issue that makes them very hard to start using if they have been left unused for more than a few months (which ALL existing stock have been from all suppliers since Jawbone stopped making them a while back). I have managed to get it working now after a lot of effort and searching the internet…. you need to: - put the band on charge (it shows as fully charged - orange man - but is wrong) - pair it with the App whilst it is on charge (NOT on your wrist) - update the firmware (whilst it is still on charge) - leave it on charge overnight - take it off charge (it will die immediately as the battery has not really taken any charge) - put it back on charge and it will now start to charge properly showing the correct sequence of rotating leds) Following these steps I was able to get my second JB to work. However, although they look good and count steps it seems that there are better devices out there such as MiBand2 which I have also tried as these do all the functions of the JB plus show notifications from your phone which the JB doesn't do. As a reasonably stylish bracelet for counting steps and heartbeat the JB is fine but there are much better devices on the market now.
