Fanatic value for money lens with great zoom range.
Lens has great reach. Fantastic carry round lens for holiday. Auto focus works fine and fast and OS helps. A bit heavy so
Sigma 18 -200mm Macro might be better if weight is an issue. Photo quality for such a huge zoom range is pretty good with usual wide open restrictions but if you're not looking to print massive then quality fine. No zoom creep. This, with a fast prime, could be all you need for a holiday/trip. Construction seems good and zoom is good. For the price I paid this is a fantastic lens.

High quality product
Very well made cable using excellent quality materials. I have not tried to use it yet as vv busy.

Great lens - Great price - Great images
Read lots about this lens. Bought one at great price. Very impressed.
Pros:
Light weight.
Small size.
Sharpness throughout aperture range.
Speed.
Auto focus speed.
Price.
Cons:
None that I can think of.
This is a non "D" lens. I'm really pleased with the results. I am using it on a D300 would be even better on a full frame body as it becomes 36mm on a cropped sensor. You could consider the 20mm for cropped sensor bodies but big price difference.
