Not bad, could be improved.
2 of 2 found this helpful OK, here's my review. Please note I bought this for Automotive use for pushing in bearings etc. So may differ for other peoples needs
PROS
Item is lightweight and arrived quickly (2 parcels about 20kg each). One parcel comes with all the beams and supports, the other bigger parcel comes with the jack, main support beam and all nuts and bolts in one big bag. The item is lightweight, and takes nothing more than a 19mm spanner, adjustable spanner (or 19mm socket/ratchet) and a 5mm allen key to assemble. It's also relatively easy to assemble at first it's a bit daunting. Price wise, this item is great for the price £99.95 for me including delivery. The quality of the metal feels good and well structured, so feels sturdy and would probably put up with some abuse.
CONS
OK now for the bad.
First. The instruction manual you receive is pretty much rubbish. It's basically 1 sheet of A4 paper with a very low quality picture, and some information with some notes on the back.
Second. For reference here's all you need information wise. As all the nuts/bolts are bunged into one bag. The majority of the assembly, only uses 1 type of nut (M12 x 30mm), on this nut you have to put a large washer, a lock washer and an M12 nut. Pretty much through every single hole. There's a few other different sized nuts, but the longer ones are for the thicker pieces of metal that are pressed into and the tiny ones are used for holding the 12-ton bottle jack and the eyelets for the springs. I personally used a 19mm spanner, and an impact gun on them because it was faster. Otherwise, I'd recommend a socket and spanner combo. The allen key bolt is for tightening down against the bottle jack.
Third. This is the biggest problem I see. The holes on the rails where the main supports get prezssed into, aren't centered properly. They're not level when you put the bar on from what I can see (this could have been the way I assembled it, but to me, it looked about an inch lower). Additionally, I personally feel you will need to drill an extra hole between two of the height points. The usable height isn't there, or you would need to chock it up.
- The top most hole nearest the bottle jack, isn't even usable. The second hole is about an inch lower, so nothing really can go in there. The third hole is beyond the range of the bottle jack itself, so you can't push here. For me the sweet spot, would be drilling half way between the 2nd/3rd holes an additional hole. I think this would be the most usable spot
Otherwise, I great little press for the garage, easy to use and assemble. The device is about 5ft in height. For the price you can't expect top quality.

Glovebox sized diagnostics
2 of 2 found this helpful Nice little product. Came well packaged and it's very small, easily will fit inside a pocket or cubby hole somewhere. There's 4 buttons which makes it easy to use. The screen is very clear and there's quite a few menus to choose from with the device
There's only a couple of things I don't like about the device. The dust cover for the OBD port is removable. This is useful, but it would be better if it had a little tag attached to it so it will still attached to the cable when removed as you can easily drop it or loose it. Second, the device is a bit slow when negotiating all the protocols it supports. It's the trade off you pay, but you can't really argue for £20. I use it on an N16 Almera and it connects without issue
