It does struggle on a plunge cut but that's not needed if your just cutting firewood. I'm definitely ordering another and if it only lasts 12 months it'll be well worth the price. It will pay you back in 1 tree felling and processes a felled tree with ease. Downside, crap at cold start and don't flood it. Also make sure your fuel mix is bang on. I fill 5lt can and add 100ml oil (good oil). I bought oregan bar n chain for £36 and it's well
worth the price on top of what you pay for
the saw. You'll be very surprised by this saw and I have already recommended it too other tree surgeons
