Fabscraps Vintage Elegance

This fabric is perfect for the quilt I have started to make. If you are looking for that vintage look then this would suit. It is a good heavyweight cotton fabric with lovely designs that all work together perfectly. The added bonus of not having to search for matching fabrics is great.

An essential little extra for sewing straight lines on hems etc.

This little gadget is an essential when you are machine sewing. Being magnetic it pops right onto your machine stitch plate and can be moved to different distances to enable you to sew straight stitching on hems etc.

Best ever rotary cutter.

After struggling with 2 other makes of Rotary cutters which blunted after short use i decided to purchase this Fiskars cutter. OMG this is the king of rotary cutters. Very light in weight and little pressure is needed to slice through several layers of material. It is so comfortable in the hand and the blade pops out with ease when the button on top is pressed. It is easily retracts with the push of the button on the top side. I am sure the titanium blade will last for a long time. Worth every penny and I will never ever waste money on cheap cutters as it is false economy. I have also purchased Fiskars scissors and they cut beautifully. I have recommended all these items to the girls in my dressmaking class.
