Nice and inexpensive
I took a chance on this one and was pleasantly surprised. The cover is a decent weight of leather with a very nice vine design. The unlined pages are handmade and are an acceptable weight and white. The cord is laced through to make XXX on the outside binding with a middle hole from which the cord starts wrapping around the book. The cord could have been a bit longer. I added my own wooden toggle so the cord would stay put and not fray. The only complaint I have is the holes for the cord are a wee bit too close together and might rip out sometime in the future. This makes the pages a tiny bit loose. All in all a great value for a leather journal. I'm taking it to London.

Tiny, but representative
This is representative of what the Hanging Gardens of Babylon may have looked like. The tiny book tells about the few things we know about the gardens a couple of times. Dispite the fact the plastic gardens are only about 2" cubed, they have room for plants that grow from the dirt. I wish it were bigger, but it is informative dispite the size. I am still waiting for the seeds to germinate to see what kind of plants they are.
