CHEAP EASY TO USE AND GREAT QUALITY - A MUST HAVE!
3 of 3 found this helpful got it at a good price considering its a tomtom and no regrets so far; only used it a few times and already i am surprised with the service; would happily have paid double for it; i had an acer pda as a sat nav before; this is miles better! picks up a signal really quickly compared to other brands. the tomtom site allows you to customize it with different voices and pictures and download different Points Of Interests/ POI's that are more suited to what you need; you can set it to alert you when you are over the speed limit or approaching a fixed speed camera or a school which can save you from getting points on your licence and even save lives. battery life is fairly decent however i tend to keep the charger plugged in while driving.
love the new form of the suction cup; the old one would fall off every 10 15 mins but with this it just twists and locks onto the windscreen and your good to go! you need to buy an extra receiver to plug in to receive real time traffic updates however i have not purchased that yet as i dont feel i need it at the moment. I am 21 and experienced in using satnav's and the like however my father who is in his 50s and not so much in the know when it comes to "modern" technology has used this several times; didn't take me long to teach him on how to use it; its pretty straight forward. you can buy a licence from tomtom at a decent price that allows you to update your maps for a year/every 3 months which is great as there's always new schemes being added and changes being made to one ways etc. i also found a street that had been changed to one way which my tomtom did not know about; i simply entered the info into the tomtom and it recalculated and also updated the maps the next time i connected to my pc so that other users will be made aware of the change. No regrets; one of the wisest decisions i have made in a long time!

Replacement TPMS
Previous broke in tyre, quoted 80 from garage, replaced with this instead and started recalibration via idrive, no issues after 5 months on, linked with other 3 genuine bmw tpms no problem

Waste of money - small hatchback
