A lovely comfortable Office chair (Once you#ve put it together!)
2 of 2 found this helpful For the money, this is a great office chair, I really love it, but it can be a bit of a headache putting it together.
The chair arrived very quickly and was well packaged. Everything was there in the box and (if everything goes well) it won't take too long to assemble.
I followed the instruction sheet, which was in picture form on a single A4 sheet and fairly easy to follow.
I'm a bit of a DIY type with years of practice and also come from an engineering background, so this should have been a doddle.
I started with the feet. Four of the five casters married up fine, but the fifth one wouldn't, so I had a look and noticed some excess solder had formed a ridge inside where the caster was supposed to fit, this wasn't a problem as such as I had the tools to be able to file the solder down and fit the caster, but if you aren't very handy, or don't have any tools, this would have stopped the job straight away.
Getting the back of the chair to marry up with seat was another hurdle which needed a bit of jiggery pokery to get the bolt holes lined up with the bolts, but once that was done it was fine. One good tip is don't tighten all the bolts up until you have the arms bolted in place first as you will need a bit of flexibility in the chair to get everything lined up, but once that's done make sure you tighten all of the bolts up fully and that will give you a rock solid chair.
Attaching the central piston to the feet and the base of the seat of the chair is very easy and once you've done that, you're away.
Quality control appears to be a bit lacking, but as I say once it's all together and tightened up, It's a great and very comfortable chair. The end result is well worth it.

Not up to it
My house is less than ten miles from a main TV transmitter. I wanted this aerial for a tv in an upstairs bedroom. I plugged it in and tuned the tv to the transmitter. There was a signal and I did get some pictures, but they kept pixelating and the freezing and the aerial just did not work as well at I had expected.
I really don't know where they get a 1000 mile signal pull from, because it wouldn't pull a good signal from less than ten miles away.
Very disappointed.

Great half step
We bought this to help my mother (who's 87) and has a knee problem. We have quite a high back door step which she struggled to get over, so I saw this and thought it might help, so I bought one. It was an instant hit and she is now able to get into my house without any trouble at all and in her own words all she says is it's "Champion". It has a really big tread, so there's virtually no chance of falling off it.
All in all I can't fault it and would recommend it.
