Must read before you take a statin drug!
My aunt's doctor wanted to put her on a statin following a recent heart attack. The drug companies are now marketing medicines for off label use, and this is no exception. In fact, statins are the number one selling drug in the world. It is now being marketed to healthy people with elevated cholesterol levels. Dr. Roberts addresses all these issues and picks apart the studies the drug companies use to convince us the drugs are safe and effective. At the very least, know the difference between relative risk and absolute risk reduction. She does a great job at explaining this, and the results may surprise you.

Great keyboard.
1 of 1 found this helpful My only complaint is the volume control. I'm used to a knob, and this keyboard has separate keys for up and down volume. Once I got used to it, it was fine. But I still prefer a knob for better control. It is a slimmer design than my old Dell keyboard, and I like it. It takes up less space on my desk. I also think it is better quality than my old Dell. I really like the shape of the keys.

Definitley a quilting tool worth having.
I loved it!! I bought it to make a Dresden plate out of old ties. It worked beautifully. The only draw back was trying to figure out how many blades would make my dresden. I am not a quilter, so that is most likely the problem. But a clearer explanation for those, like me, who are new to quilting would be very helpful.
