Suitably Creepy
The movie was a suitably creepy horror movie, with a surprise ending.

A romantic, engaging movie
All that Heaven Allows is an interesting and engaging movie about a romance between an "older" woman and a younger man. (Although to me these two do not appear to be that far apart in age. I knew a man who married a woman who was 18 years older than him, and I could definitely see the age difference!)
I enjoyed the movie. It is also a very good commentary on what can happen to a woman in the suburbs when she is suddenly widowed, regarding women's critical attitudes toward her as well as the assumption by some men that she is easy prey.

A Movie Worth Watching
I sent this to my former French teacher as a gift, and she told me that she very much enjoyed the movie. I had already seen it many years ago.
