A most interesting book describing the rise and fall of the independent cinema in face of the rise of the multiplex.

This is an excellent book especially for someone bought up in Bristol who remembers visiting many of the venues. It is also most interesting generally as it describes the rise and fall of the privately owned cinemas in face of the rise of the multiplex.
