Medical Apartheid: The Dark History of Medical Experimentation on Black American

Incredible book! The dark history of American medicine should never be forgotten

This book is fantastic! It delves into the heinous crimes committed on black bodies since the beginning of western medicine as we know it. People do not realize the significant impact that slavery had (and still has) on American history. The origins of the medical marvels we commend today are overlooked and not given the critical analysis they desperately need. This book eloquently explains why African Americans are so distrusting of the US healthcare system, and why there is a calling for African Americans to enter the field. This book exemplifies my passion and motivation to enter the healthcare field. In order to dismantle oppressive systems, their histories and foundation must be studied thoroughly. We must recognize and accept the fact that racism is inherently built into our society and the medical field, and we must actively work to correct the faults of the past. I'm sorry this was slightly long for a book review, but I'm just so happy (and honestly humbled) to have this information. I can't wait to finish up the book and lend it to all my friends!

I love this product! The vents allow for steam to escape and it keeps your microwave clean from food splatter. Plus the piggy handle makes it easy to pick up the cover even after it's warm out of the microwave. Highly recommend!

Keep your toothbrushes nice and dry!

Perfect product! I no longer have to deal with water accumulating at the bottom of the toothbrush cup (which, let's be honest, is super gross). This product is sturdy and is very affordable. I definitely recommend it! EDIT: So I've had this product for quite a while now, it still does the job but it has majorly rusted over time so be aware of that. I think a plastic material would be better suited for a product like this!
